IPF Lightbar
The pickup came with a Trux 63mm light mounting bumper bar with two IPF spotlights. These were removed and I swapped them for an IPF 600 series 20" double row LED lightbar @ £538 . I ordered some fittings off eBay and fitted the new bar. It isn't yet wired but looks badass already before powering it. The idea is to link it to the high beam via a new circuit and relay.

He's Home!!
2.5 hours drive home on the day before Ford Fair, saw people videoing the Ranger on the motorway from their Fiestas, Focuses, and Escorts. If you are one of those people please get in touch. I'd love to see those pictures and videos.
Once home, I had to test that it fitted in my garage, and it does, just.... that's a double garage, not much room for error.
The first jobs were the practical ones, new Cosatto hold ISOFIX base for the little'un, and a cage in the rear for the dog.

Collection Day
So today's the day. I collected the Ranger from Steve @ Hexagon cars in Harrogate. Steve typically deals "German" with lots of used BMW and Mercedes motors, but has recently branched out into the world of pickups. I have to say, he does a brilliant job of presenting a car.
I was very pleased with my experience from Hexagon, and would certainly consider buying from there again.
Anyway, a 6am start on the train from Stoke to Manchester, to Leeds, to Hornbeam Park, arrived at just after 9:30am. Made my way to Hexagon, to be greeted outside by the Ranger. It is a mammoth of a motor, standing way above everything else, and in bright orange to boot.
Some of the features are:
Ford 8" entertainment centre with SYNC2, Bluetooth, DAB, Satellite Navigation, Voice Control, SD card, USB port, Line in. Wiltrak part leather seats, dual climate control, heated and electric seats, Aeroklas canopy, Wolf 20" alloys, Cooper all-terrain tyres, Reverse assist camera and sensors, Cruise control, auto wipers, auto lights, auto dimming mirror, mobile wi-fi hotspot, lane guidance, auto hill decent, tyre pressure monitoring, tow bar and electrics pack.
More on the modifications that I requested later, but for now here is one happy Ranger owner.
